How to Choose a Dining Table Size
Count your seats. A 60" rectangular table seats 6. A 72" seats 6-8. A 96" seats 10.
Round vs. rectangular. Round tables feel more social and take less space. Rectangular tables seat more people and fit better in narrow rooms.
Extending tables. If you host a few times a year, an extending table is the smart middle ground.
Chair clearance. You need 24" per person along the table edge, and 36" of space behind each chair for pull-out room.
Our Los Banos showroom stocks dining sets from Ashley, Coaster, and Homelegance in every size.
